Lean deployment: changing practices with your teams

Good ideas are not in short supply. What is missing is the time, the method and the consistency to make them part of daily work. I work in your workshops, with your teams, to roll out the improvement plan: lean, supply chain, maintenance, EHS/ICPE compliance, change management.

Who it is for

Sites that want to make lasting progress

Industrial SMEs and mid-sized companies that already have a diagnostic, or that know their priorities, and are looking for hands-on support to deliver: productivity, lead times, quality, safety, logistics flows, equipment reliability.

I do not hand over a report that gathers dust in a drawer: I run the projects with operators and supervisors, and I hand over the routines so that results hold.

What we can deploy

  • Lean: 5S and visual management, SMED, VSM, Kaizen projects, TPM, indicators and management routines
  • Supply chain: planning, stock management, procurement, internal logistics
  • Maintenance: preventive maintenance, organisation, reliability, stoppage tracking
  • EHS and ICPE: bringing compliance up to standard, prevention plans, preparing an inspection or an audit
  • Change management: ADKAR method (Prosci), first-line management, problem solving

Typical problems

What we work on together

  • Changeovers that are too long and capacity that is poorly used.
  • Cluttered workstations, time lost searching for tools and parts.
  • High stock and shortages at the same time.
  • Many indicators, few of them used to decide.
  • EHS or ICPE compliance to bring up to standard before a deadline.
  • Initiatives launched then abandoned for lack of follow-up; teams that endure change instead of being part of it.

How it runs

An assignment in four steps

  1. PrioritiesWe choose a pilot scope and measurable objectives, based on the diagnostic or on your own findings.
  2. ProjectsI lead the first projects on the shop floor, with operators and supervisors.
  3. AnchoringWe install the routines: daily meetings, indicator tracking, standards.
  4. HandoverYour teams take over and the approach extends to other scopes.

Deliverables

Defined in the quote according to the scope, for example:

  • Projects run and documented on the pilot scope
  • Work standards and visual management in place
  • A simple indicator dashboard, followed by the teams
  • Reports, and internal leads trained to carry on

Duration and terms

Per day (7 hours), one day minimum per visit, at the pace we agree.

Travel included up to 100 km from Poligny. Each assignment is tailored; precise quote after a first conversation.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions

What is lean manufacturing?

A continuous-improvement approach that seeks to remove waste and stabilise processes, relying on the people on the shop floor. It includes tools such as 5S, SMED, VSM, Kaizen and TPM.

Do we need to launch a lean project across the whole plant?

No. I recommend starting with a pilot scope, showing concrete results, then extending.

At what pace do you work?

Per day, with a minimum of one day per visit, at a pace we agree: for example one day a week during a project, then one day a month to anchor the results.

Will my team be autonomous at the end?

That is the aim of the assignment: to hand over the methods and routines so that the approach carries on without me.
