Offer 01 · Operational diagnostic
Industrial audit: a diagnostic of your plant in three days
Before deciding on an action plan, you need to know where performance is being lost. I spend one to two days on your site, look at flows, organisation, maintenance and compliance, then hand you a findings report, priorities and a costed action plan.
Who it is for
Companies that want to see clearly
Industrial SMEs and mid-sized companies that sense a problem without knowing precisely where it comes from, that are preparing an investment, growth or a change of management, or that want an experienced outside view of their site. The diagnostic can cover the whole plant or a defined scope: a workshop, a flow, a function.
Possible scope
- Flows and production: organisation, output, scheduling, bottlenecks
- Supply chain: stock, procurement, logistics, customer service
- Maintenance: reliability, preventive maintenance, organisation, new works
- EHS and ICPE: compliance, risks, safety culture
- Organisation and management: routines, indicators, lean maturity
Typical problems
When a diagnostic becomes useful
- Delivery lead times worsen for no obvious reason.
- Stock rises while shortages persist.
- Machine stoppages repeat and maintenance is always reacting.
- A regulatory inspection or a customer audit approaches and you doubt your level of compliance.
- You are changing owner or plant director and need a neutral review.
How it runs
Three days, four steps
- ScopingTogether we define the scope, the questions to answer and the people to meet. You send me your indicators.
- FieldOne to two days on site: workshops, warehouses, offices. I observe, measure, and talk with the teams and with management.
- AnalysisI cross-check what I saw and measured, rank the findings and put figures on the actions.
- PresentationI present the results to management and hand over the report and the action plan.
Deliverables
- A findings report, based on what was observed and measured
- Priorities ranked by impact and effort
- A costed action plan, with proposed owners and deadlines
- An oral presentation to management
Duration and terms
Fixed fee of 3 days, 1 to 2 of them on site, adapted to your scope.
Travel included up to 100 km from Poligny. A precise quote, valid for 30 days, follows a first conversation. I commit to means and deliverables, never to a guaranteed numerical result.
Frequently asked questions
Your questions
How long does an industrial audit take?
It is a fixed-fee package of 3 days: 1 to 2 days on site for the visit, interviews and data collection, the rest for analysis, writing and the presentation to management.
What does the diagnostic report contain?
A factual review, priorities ranked by impact and effort, and a costed action plan that your teams can start on, with or without my help.
Does an audit commit me to what follows?
No. The diagnostic is an assignment in its own right and its conclusions belong to you. If you want support with implementation, field support is quoted separately.
